Hi Suhail,

I set up a catch all e-mail account with my host and tested it with an independent mail client. The catch all account appears to be working fine, but I keep getting an "invalid user name or password" error when I try to add the domain. I have tried many different formats.

For example, assuming the catch all account is named catchall@somedomain.net with a password of 111, the following produce errors:

User Name: catchall

Password: 111

User Name: catchall@somedomain.net

Password: 111

Both of these fail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Suhail,

I would rather not e-mail my FTP info but will continue to work on the problem myself.

Just to give you a heads up... The error the Dart component produces is:

"An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

So far, I have not found a good explanation as to how this relates to MailYouLike. I did see one or two mentions of it in the Dart forum but no solutions.

Thank you,

Jamie

Hi !

Where your email server is hosted on windows or unix?

this error may be because your email server does not respond correctly !
Did you tired to make the same account in outllok? if the accounts details work there it should work with Mailyoulike

also if you still get  some problems then you can email me the Catch all account details i will check at my end wether it is your mail server  or Mailyoulike

Thanks

Hi Suhail,

Thank you as always for your great responsiveness.

I tried connecting to the catchall account via the Dart ASP .NET live demo on the Dart web site and was able to connect without any problems. I have downloaded their code, researched the stack trace and can only assume that the problem comes from the web server my site resides on. I will continue to research.

Thank you again,

Jamie
