Hi Suhail, I am getting an error again with mail you like. I have seen this one before and you fixed it for me in the past by changing the scripts to not show the error. I am pretty certain it is to do with my hosts mail server falling over.

The thing is since you changed the scripts to fix this I reinstalled mailyoulike to try and fix a nother problem, (again to do with my hosts I think) Anyway the problem wasn't to do with the install and seem to right itself. Since then I think the mail server may have went down and now it is back up i am getting the time out error as before.

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Can you tell me what is needed to be changed to stop this error appearing. Whatever you did before worked so info on this will probably help me fix it.

Hi !

Yes what happens actually happens  !

 When a mail is sent to xyz@yourdomain.com  the catch all pop account catchs the mail ,   now mailyoulike logs into  the catch all accounts  check each mail . now in this case the mail is TO : xyz@yourdomian.com mailyoulike will check wether the users xyz exsist in the database or not if it does then it saves the email  in the database   and moves to next email in cacth all account , now if the users xyz  does not exsist in  database  ( not have a account ) then mailyoulike will automatcally reply  to the user that this users  does not exsist    so that   users is notified . now this is fine but the problem is when postmaater accounts sends a email to a non- exsistance  email address on  pop mail server then this mail is routed to postmaster again and when mail you gets the mail  the users deos not exsist in the database and a auotmatic reply is sent  which agains goes to postmaster   this create a  never ending loop . each time mailyoulike sends a automatic reply  it adds your footer to the mail .

 now   you can stop this  by stopping   mailyoulike  to send automatic replies .

I know all this will be confusing but send me your ftp info i will do the changes and let you know
