Hi My web hosts just recently changed their Data centers and the IP address of the email server changed.

Emails obviously stopped being delivered to my mail you like install. I therefore changed the IP address in the database to the new one and some emails came through after the change.

However I have tested sending a email from my hotmail account to a couple of account set up o my mailyoulike install. At first the first message I sent never came through then appeared after a long time. Now the emails are just cueing up in the catch all account but not being transfered into the mail you like database and in effect the related inboxes.

Do I need to make any other changes else where???

Any ideas??

Cheers
Anthony

Hi !

You just need to update the Database with the mail server name ( IP )  and user name and password  if you have done that then mailyoulike should work correctly

To test the setting create a account in out look use the same details as in the database and then send email  and see if you get them on time - if it is working there it should work on mailyoulike - if  the account is not working in outlook then you must contact your host to slove your problem

Hi Suhail,

Not sure if you have just been doing work on my install but, everything is working great now, if you fixed something thank you very much.

was it you, if so what was up??? or has it just started working again on its own for some strange reason???

Cheers
