This is what one of my client says :

I want to say that I think it entirely unethical AND illegal to give away copyrighted software. I don't know what the motive of the person is who offered to do this, nor do I really care. Programmers spend alot of time to make a product and they deserve to be compensated for their work. You do not have a moral or legal right to give away what does not belong to you. Software is licensed, not purchased. You are given permission to use the software based on the agreement in the file group. If you open and use the software, you have agreed to that license. Otherwise you are breaking the law and more importantly you are acting in an unethical manner.

This is a very serious matter. If we want to have quality software at reasonable prices, then we have to pay for it. If we stop paying for it, people will stop making it.

I condemn such activities as this and hope this person can be identified and held accountable.
