Can you tell me how user roles should be set up for "sa" and "myluser"?

For "myluser", should "public" and "db_owner" be checked?

For "sa", should everything be checked except for "db_denydatareader" and "db_denydatawriter"?

Just make a new users and keep all the defaults no need to change any thing !

What are defaults - my host changed them.

Hi !

For sa and myluser or any other database user only check

Public and db_owner

and uncheck all the rest
